What We’re Doing

Participate is revolutionizing the traditionally slow loan participation process with the first patented end-to-end participation loan management tool for both originators and participants. We intend to democratize the loan participation space by streamlining the process and thereby allowing financial institutions of all sizes to use participations as an integral part of their balance sheet management strategy. Our mobile-friendly, web-based applications are designed to be easy to use, increase efficiency, increase transparency, and improve workflow for our bank clients. We are looking for a UX Developer to join our growing Development team and build out our next generation of software solutions to expand and enhance our offerings. Must have knowledge and experience in all stages of the software development life cycle.

What You’ll Do

  • Design and develop applications for financial institutions that operate in a highly regulated and security sensitive environment
  • Develop front-end solutions using JavaScript, CSS, and PHP development to implement UI
  • Maintain code integrity and organization
  • Work with Product Management team members to understand business requirements, and then deliver solutions based on those requirements
  • Provide testing, maintenance, documentation and troubleshooting assistance for the Customer Success team

Qualifications and Experience

  • Ability to quickly learn and understand existing applications to make enhancements and provide support
  • Familiar with iterative software development life cycles and methodologies
  • Thorough understanding of user experience and product strategy
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines on an ongoing basis
  • Flexible, adaptable, and able to work in a high-pressure environment
  • Positive attitude
  • 5 years’ experience in a UI/UX Development role
  • 5 years’ experience with JavaScript, CSS, and PHP Development
  • Familiarity with jQWidgets is a plus
